MANAGING THE WORLD OF A PROPOSAL LONE RANGER

As bid deadlines compress, proposal professionals are asked to manage multiple bids simultaneously, often as a proposal team of one. Creating processes that suit this environment is critical.

Many companies operate small proposal centres to manage their proposal process. Part of a small, often decentralised team, these proposal professionals manage all aspects - coordinating, writing, editing, creating graphics, and production – and often more than one proposal at a time.

Participants will learn how to embrace the whirlwind nature of managing multiple fast-track responses. They will learn techniques for adapting best practices to suit this unique environment, taking ownership of your experience and knowledge, influencing the process, keeping multiple bids on track, and reducing stress.

Takeaway: Learn both practical and soft skills to make you more effective:

  • Time management
  • Team management
  • Process management
